Campaign Story

Let me start by introducing ourselves. We are Richard and Heather. Our love began in 2021. We got married shortly after in 2022. Our marriage has been a blessing. I have children from previous years. My husband loves and treats them like they are his own. But he was never blessed with the opportunity to have one of his own. And I would like to give him this gift as it would give us an amazing opportunity to grow our family. It would also give him the gift of bringing his own life into this world. I unfortunately can not give him this greatest joy since I was forced to have a hysterectomy after my last child due to having lesions on my cervix. I no longer have the means to be able to give my husband a child from my body. It pains me to know I could not do this for my husband, after all he has done for me and his country. My husband has served his country as a Marine. And I would like to think he deserves this blessing.

We are hopeful in the way of surrogacy. It is God’s way of telling us that we still have paths to making his dream into reality. We are fighters and never give up on hope.
